SMS PC HappyFingers : iPhone on your desktop App Reviews

They deliver what they advertised, you can type your SMS on your desktop. However it will forward to your phone and you still have to hit send on your phone. Looking for an app that will do it automatically from the desktop like Google voice. Does anybody know of anything like that? Also sending an email from the desktop with HappyFingers did not work for me.

Please read before wasting your $$$$ iPhone interaction still required needed. I have just wasted my 5 dollars! At first, working with the desktop app, I loved what I saw and when it synced contacts it said "buy full version to sync all contact" so I brought it based on desktop interface. At this point I went to actually test sending text and calling. Sending text simply opens up text messaging with advertisements in message! Calling someone will prompt with notification to call. I will give this app 5 stars on their ability to deceive the user - at first glance it looks great until you start actually trying to use. I was expecting it to work the same way the messaging app works but on the computer. No the case. What I expected: Sends text message (with no advertising & automatically) Receive text (if its there it didnt work) Calls to be placed automatically when I click call. I have a Bluetooth headset, I was hoping to leave my phone in my pocket and not have to touch it. This app is far from having that capability. I think I am done ranting.

Discovered after downloading that youre limited to 20 synced contacts and 4 updates to contacts. I used all 20 syncs before I knew there was a limit. When trying to manually add a contact to message, program just kept running. Unable to use and cheap-looking enough that it wasnt worth figuring it out. Lasted all of 5 minutes on my phone and pic.

please ppl dont waste your time on this. plus it ask every second if you want to upgrade to pro..

I have arthritis in my fingers, so being able to type my messages on a full-sized keyboard is a god-send. I only wish I didt have to push the send button on my phone to advance these sage. However, the convenience of the use of my computer keyboard tends to outweigh the negative

Everything about this program is terrible.

Works perfect on my iPhone 5 and Win7 desktop. My only suggestion would be a GUI update from Windows 3.0 to 2013 - just sayn.

Does not use contacts nor allow manual entry of contacts - waste of time.

The only thing this app does positively is allow people who cant type fast on iPhone keyboard to use a PC keyboard instead. It doesnt allow you to receive any messages on your PC and has you confirm messages on your phone that you type non your PC. Its the same as handing a random person your mail to take it to your mailbox for the post man. Its a needless, misleading middleman app

Great app. Wish it gets updated to take advantage of the new iOS APIs and would be further enhanced.

I could have dealt with the overall spammy gross aesthetic but the fact that I need to not only approve the messages from my phone, but also remove the gross sent from happyfingers tag at the end, unless I pay, is complete nonsense. Thanks for nothing.

Doesnt work with ios 8

A lot of people are complaining about having to hit "Send" on the actual phone, but this doesnt bother me. Im just so happy to not have to type the full message on my iPhone, which was the bane of my existence. I always have my iPhone right by the computer anyway. I also think the $5 upgrade is well worth it. Id been looking for an app like this for a long time, so Im so glad to have found one.

Push notifications stopped working for me over night. This means that I have to manually open the app on my phone to receive any instructions from my PC. Tried getting support... Doesnt look like they exist anymore.

This app works fine, but it doesnt actually send the message from your computer. You have to have your phone with the application open and still press send to send message.

Only works if it is the App open on your sceen. Of course at the completion of a call it is no longer displaying so you need to find its icon and open it again to occupy the screen

Happy fingers is terrible you need to have the phone app open to send messages all it does is pair your keyboard with your phone.

What should be a seamless app between the PC and the iPhone simply isnt. This app is a waste of $5.
